As a leader within Lakshmi Mills and affiliated engineering enterprises in Coimbatore, Rajagopal revolutionized South India's textile infrastructure. He spearheaded the design and domestic manufacturing of high-speed automated spinning frames, draw frames, and precision tooling components. His breakthrough engineering solutions drastically reduced the Indian textile industry's dependence on expensive European imports and elevated the quality of cotton yarn produced across Kovai.
